Epcot to Mk via monorail ?????

About how long does this take? This would be on the 1st Sat of December to make a 7:00pm ADR. I'm guessing to leave Epcot between 6:00 and 6:15pm. How does that sound to all the experts????

I would say leave no later than 6:00 and you should be fine. The ride is (they say on the monorail announcement) about 10 minutes but it seems to go faster than that. By the time you get off the monorail, go through security and then turnstiles and get to your ADR (not sure where you're eating), you should make it. I wouldn't hesitate to even leave a little earlier than 6 if you can manage to. I say this because you can "leave the park" at one time and by the time a monorail comes (there could be one waiting but don't count on that), you could be talking another 10-15 min. wait. Also, if your ADR is on the other side of Main Street, cut through the stores so you're not swimming upstream, lol. Just say to yourself "i'll buy this stuff later", lol.

Thanks Donna!! That's kind of what I figured too. We'll probably start heading from the monorail around 5:45. That should give us enough time.

You're welcome! You should make it in plenty of time. Remember,too, you'll have to switch monorails at Trans. & Ticket Center, so another wait for a monorail might occur. if there happens to be a ferry boat at the dock, consider taking that (ask how long before it leaves). Once you reach the ticket center, you will have two stops (poly and GF) before getting to MK. If you happen to run late, don't stress, you will be seated at the next available table for your party size and they'll fit you in!

Thanks Again Donna!! I had forgotten about switching monorails at the TTC. I'll be using my wheelchair to so that will probably take more time. We (will) have an ADR at the Plaza Restaurant for 7:00ish. (I can't make my ADR till Monday ). So if I am given choices I'll try for later.

Sometimes Monorail Lines can be LONG!!! As a backup... save the phone number for yellowcab in your cell... and if you are running late you can call for a cab. Most fairs are 15$ at the most... but usually much less.

This is true if they take the Resort Monorail. If they take the express, it only stops at the TTC and the MK.
