Can anyone offer any advice on the fastest route (using Disney transportation) from Epcot to a 4 pm PS at T-Rex on a Sunday in August? Is it really fastest to go to POR to get a bus to DTD? Thanks very much.

It might be easiest for you to go out the International Gateway exit to BW or BC and catch a DTD bus from there.

While this might not be the fastest option, the most pleasant option might be to catch a bus from EPCOT to POFQ (or any of the resorts that share the waterway to DtD) and then catch a boat to DtD from there. This avoids much of the construction mess at DtD that buses and people who drive themselves have to deal with.

I like this idea. Where are the bus stops? I assume they aren't on the Boardwalk -- do we just cut through one of the hotels? I haven't been to the BW since 1999 so not very familiar. Thanks for the help!

Bus stops for all the EPCOT area resorts are at the "front" of each resort. The EPCOT Intl. Gateway park exit opens to the "back" of these resorts. So, yes, you'll basically just cut through one of these resorts to get to the bus stop.

Bus service to DTD isn't very good. I'd be tempted to spend the money for a taxi.

I'm wondering if the taxi is much better since they have to fight the same traffic?

I was thinking about saving a possible 20 minute wait for a bus. Traffic is bad you can ask the driver to drop you off at an alternate location. Maybe a different part of DTD. Anything withing walking distance of DTD. Bus has to discharge passengers at the bus stop. You can't ask the bus driver to stop and let you off.

Thanks everyone. Since we have a small child with us I feel safer with a Disney bus than a taxi. We'll leave plenty of time to get there. It might be fun to walk through the Boardwalk since I haven't been there in so long!
