I'll be going over tomorrow afternoon & want to walk around the countries. Would the easiest way to DTD be to leave & take the boat launch to Swan/Dolphin? Do they have buses right out front then to get to DTD?

There are no buses from any park to DTD. From Epcot you can boat to an Epcot resort and bus to DTD or bus to POP (any resort will do, POP is just a convenient one in the middle) and then transfer to a DTD bus.

If you are doing the countries I would do them from Mexico on around and then back track a bit and leave via the International gateway and just walk to the Beach Club and take a bus from there.

Do buses not go the parks from Downtown Disney and vice vera to stop folks from parking at DTD to avoid parking fees?

Do the buses not go the Downtown Disney directly from the parks to hinder folks from parking at DTD to avoid parkind fees at the parks?

Right. And so that there is sufficient parking for people actually visiting Downtown Disney. Getting a parking spot there can be a challenge at times -- very annoying if you want to shop.

I agree with your observations. I guess my time is more valuable, if driving I would rather have my car at the park I'm visiting as opposed to dragging my family around on two buses to save $11.

I'm sure some folks go through all the agro though to save some scracth.

If you're near the main entrance of EPCOT I'd take a bus to SSR, if you're near the International Gateway I'd walk to the BC and take a bus to DTD.

is there an option of going to TTC then taking a bus to DD? Not sure if that is an option as I am curious too.
