We are staying offsite and plan to visit Epcot on our last day. We were also thinking about going to Cape May for the character breakfast. Can we park at Epcot and then walk to the Beach club? I have never been before and have no concept of how far resorts are from parks etc. Any input would be valuable.

You can, but you will have to walk all the way thru Epcot to get to the Cape May buffett. We have done that, and I think it took us 15 minutes. Hopefully someone else knows a better way.:)

Would only depend on if you had a real early ADR. If epcot isnt open, they wont let you in, unless you have an ADR for something in the park that early (princess breakfast for example) or a tour of some sort. But if FW is open you will be able to walk thru international gateway and over to BC.

I would drive to BC, valet park there, have breakfast, then head to Epcot for the day. You are going to have to pay to park in any case, why not pay to valet at BC, eat and then not worry about the car?
And yes, that is perfectly permissable...as long as you are paying to valet and not self-parking for the day.

Thats great to know. I had no idea that you could valet at the BC and then go from there to the park. Thanks so much.

I'm not sure it's "official", but if you are using the valet servce, you can generally stay as long as you like, for any purpose. If you self-park, and are not a guest of the resort, you are not supposed to stay longer than three hours and/or visit the theme parks from there. Essentially, the valet staff makes sure that you won't negatively impact guests at the resort.

It's 'official' in that I've asked at several resorts, the valet people directly, if it's permissable to valet and then head to a park. They have told me..."You paid to park here, you are free to go wherever you want and do whatever you want. But, don't try it in self-park!!"
