Off the wall question, if you accidentally take the monorail to EPCOT from the TTC, go to EPCOT, do not have a hopper, and are staying at the BC/YC what would be the best way to get to your room? Is there a secret path somewhere?

Thanks!

Best way would be a cab, probably $10-15 with tip.

Using WDW transportation, maybe bus to DHS, then boat.

Or bus to Pop, AoA, or CBR and tell driver you're lost and use your best lost puppy look.:dogdance:

There's no secret path. Using Disney transportation you can take the bus from the front of Epcot to DHS. From there you could either walk along the path adjacent to the waterway or take the Friendship boat to the BC/YC.

what do you mean by (go to epcot) are you entering epcot? If so just walk to the back entrance by England

First of all, I'd have to wonder how it's possible to "accidentally" any mode of transportation to any given place. They are all clearly marked.

That being said, you'd have to either take a cab, or monorail back to the TTC and take a bus.

That wouldn't be possible. there's not a bus from the TTC to Epcot. Which, I have to say, actually answers your first question. People end up taking the wrong transportation because they think they know how to get somewhere and it turns out that they are mistaken. People make mistakes.

There's not a bus from the TTC to YC/BC. The DHS route makes the most sense. They can't get to the International Gateway because they don't have a ticket to enter Epcot.

I assume the "accident" happened because they thought there was a path around the outside of Epcot to get back to the YC/BC and when they got off the monorail they found out there wasn't.

The OP made reference to not having a hopper, so I would assume that he'd been in another park before arriving at Epcot, and therefore couldn't enter Epcot.

Ah, yes, I forgot the step of monorailing back to MK to grab the bus.

I do still think it would be pretty tough to get on the monorail to Epcot and not realize that's where you're going, though. It's the only place that particular monorail line runs to.

Yes, but many people wouldn't realize that there is no easy way to get to the yc/bc from the from of Epcot. Many people who aren't super familiar with WDW transportation would think that Epcot would be the most logical place to transfer.

This was a hypothetical question. It would be nice if they left EPCOT open after hours for those staying at the resorts to cut through or actually put in a path like that at POLY outside of EPCOT rather than having to take the bus.
