Epcot Strategy with PPO ADR

We have a PPO Reservation at Akershus (8:15). We will have a 2 year old and a 5 year old that are very into Princesses. Therefore meeting Elsa and Anna and FEA are a must. My initial thought was to go straight from the breakfast and get in line to meet Anna and Elsa so that the kids will not have to wait long, then head over to Soarin and hope the wait is not too long(not sure if it will be too much for my 5 year old or not so scared to use a FP on it), and try and get a FP for FEA mid afternoon (our 60 days is about 2 weeks away). Does that sound like a good plan or does the meet and greet first thing seem like a waste? I know the wait times for the m&g have not been very long but I know that is something that they are dying to do and it would be nice to not have to wait too long. All other meet and greets we are doing at character meals.

Second unrelated question, I currently have a 1:00 reservation at Biergarten. I am thinking of canceling and instead doing a quick service at Tangierine Café. Is Biergarten worth the extra time and money?

IMHO, if you are planning on doing Soarin' standby, I would head straight there and do the Anna/Elsa meet and greet later. In all honesty, if Soarin' is your RD ride and you are going to try to get FEA later, I would actually try to switch to an Akershus lunch with a FEA FP+ around that lunch time. Otherwise, you are going to be walking all over the park that day.

If you are doing Akershus breakfast I would not do Biergarten for lunch. That's a lot of food and a lot of time sitting and eating in one day. Tangierine Cafe is very good!

I would get in line for the frozen ride immediately after eating breakfast, then head to Soarin after that. If you can finish breakfast quick enough that is what others mainly do when booking the ppo reservation. I'd just go do the meet and greet anytime as the line is usually always under 30 min. I think you'd be wasting valuable early park time by doing the meet and greet right off the bat.
