Epcot Strategy: Planning Advice Needed

We only want to Fastpass Test Track and FEA. Soarin' and Mission Space=a day of motion sickness. We figure we can hit Nemo during EMH (or right before it closes, whichever), and all these rumors of Spaceship Earth closing once TT reopens have me doubting it will even be open in Late June/ early July.
We have no rope drop plans for EPCOT, but one full afternoon with evening EMH. We mostly want to see World Showcase which isn't even open until 11. We also have a lot of flex time on our other days specifically to go back and enjoy WS.
But will be able to ride FEA and TT (without waiting 2+ hrs) without rope drop or prebooking FP+? What's the chance of same day FP or good waits during evening EMH?

FEA FP do come open, as do TT, throughout the day, BUT, you have to diligently check MDE and it may not be a time you’d actually want. We always get a FP for TT, rope drop FEA, and use our other 2 FP for Nemo, land, or figment (even though you don’t actually need them for those). We try to book our FP windows sandwiched right on top of each other, using all 3 up then go for our 4th or 5th ones. We can regularly grab Frozen later in the day.

If you are not going to another park that morning you could pre book two tier two fast passes for earlier that day and your tier one for either TT or FEA for when you plan to arrive. That way as soon as you scan in to your tier one you can start trying for the other. Some one please correct me if I am incorrect.

I think this is correct.

On a practical level, we were never able to get an additional Test Track or FEA fast pass using the refresh method, but we are a family of 5 and others have reported being luckier. A smaller party would have a better chance of success.

We're going to AK that morning. We'll be in EPCOT from about 4-5 to 11.
