Is Epcot still a mess with construction walls that break up Future World? It was a mess there this past April. If so, do you think it will still be a mess for the October 1 celebration?

It's depressing at EPCOT right now, IMO. The mess in Future World makes it miserable to be in that section, and the ugly, hulking black barges in the middle of the lake in World Showcase are hideous.
It is anticipated that the Future World refurb will have the Epcot main entrance rerouted for another year. We’re guessing it may be finished in time for Epcot’s 40th anniversary on Oct 1, 2022.

Yeah, it’s tough to visit. They neglected to update any of Future World for years.
On a people watching note, it’s fun to stand and the dead end behind Spaceship Earth to see people go back there only to get lost. I’ve even seen Disney post cast members back there to point people in the right direction.
I agree it's depressing - I'll be there next week and I'm considering not even visiting Epcot except I'd like to do a little food and wine. and I've never seen Epcot Forever. If it weren't for those two things I wouldn't even be considering it. Sad really. My faves are a tie - MK and AK.
