Hi folks -
I will be at WDW the week of Sept 22, with our last day being Friday, September 27.
We have a day at Epcot earlier in the week, but my plan was for us to end at Epcot on Friday, September 27 (we are staying in an EPCOT area hotel). However, with Illuminations ending on September 30 and being that this the last Friday, am I right to expect crazy crowds on the Friday evening? From what I understand there are lots of locals and long time fans of this show, which is where my concerns come from.
We do have a full day at EPCOT earlier in the week, so we will still have a full day there. My alternative plan would be to still spend the AM at EPCOT, and then go to MNSSHP on the Friday night. (we are going to MNSSHP earlier in the week, but this would just give us extra time to meet characters, etc.).
Thanks all you Disney gurus
