epcot seas tour

Hi everyone - I am visiting Disney in April. I was looking at the Underwater Seas tour at Epcot and thought it looks like something my girls would like. Has anyone done the tour? What was it like? My daughters are 9 and 11 and they both love ocean/sea life. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

Are you talking about the Aqua Seas Tour, Dolphins in Depth or Dive Quest? We've done the first two and loved them, but there is an age limit. Aqua Seas you snorkel through the big tank, and you have to be at least 8 so you would be okay on that one. Dolphins in Depth you get into about waist-deep water and interact with the dolphins - you have to be 13 for that one. The Dive Quest requires certification and you dive the big tank and you must be at least 10.

the seas aqua tour is very cool. it's actually snuba (scuba assisted snorkeling), you breath through a respirator. you're locked to the surface and most of the fish won't bother with you (you'll just see them swimming beneath you in some very clear water) but the turtles tend to like to get up close (you can't touch them though).

I was inquiring about the Seas Tour. I never heard of the Dolphin in Depth. It's too bad they are too young for that. Thanks for your info.

it's actually the aqua tour. the entire pavilion is the seas so just 'the seas tour' can be confusing
