Epcot Santa Clause?

Has anyone run into or come in contact with the Epcot Santa Clause? Not the "real" Santa at Christmastime. LOL But the man with all the pins that walks around Epcot and hands out pins for free? Is he on these boards?

We ran into him last week while at the Flower Festival, my mom and I. He looked like a serious pin trader, so I struck up conversation, and he said he doesn't trade pins, he gives them away! He had a bag of about 100 pins at least. He ended up giving me a Tinkerbell and my mom a Minnie Mouse pin.

He was so nice. Just curious if anyone else has come in contact with him.

My husband has been the recipient of a free pin about 3 times, but it hasn't only been at Epcot. I never had heard about a "santa."

Well he told us that's what CMs had dubbed him as, "the Epcot Santa Clause". I'm guessing it was around Christmas maybe? I have no clue.

A couple of years ago DH and I were at BW and saw "Santa". Spitting image of the "real" person. He was nice enough to take a picture with us and this year we showed our 4 year old grandson that Nana & Pops have connections!
