The last time I was at Epcot was the week Genie Plus launched. Now that some time has passed, I'm wondering if crowd patterns have changed.
We are planning on rope dropping Epcot on a medium crowd level day (according to crowd calendar predictions anyway ;). We aren't staying on property this trip so we won't be able to get in 30 minutes early. My question is, what is the best attraction to rope drop these days? We will have ILL$ for Remy and Frozen. We will not purchase genie plus for our Epcot day. We ride everything.

I think it depends on what attractions you wish to do. We'd probably head right to TT. Soarin' is another popular standby line, but wait times there seemed less. We found standby lines later in the day for most of the other Future World section very manageable - Mission Space, Figment, Nemo, Land, Spaceship Earth, etc. It'll be interesting to see what times are available for you ILL$s since you're not at a Disney resort and will have to wait until park opening to purchase. I expect you'll still be able to get them, but likely Remy will be later in the day. Good luck and enjoy your day!

Definitely make a bee line for TT. Other than Remy and Frozen, that has the longest line. MOST of the other future world rides have little lines right now. Soarin is hit or miss, but usually if you watch it, there will be a 20-30 minute time creep up. Spaceship earth is the same - it will flux, but will get as low at 15 minutes in later parts of the day. The remaining rides generally have little wait.

Thank you. That's pretty much what we saw on our last trip. Just wanted to confirm that it's still that way.

One other thing to keep in mind is Test Track has a single rider line. If you don't mind being split up, you can avoid most of a long wait. That said, we rode it a few times as a family (used Genie+, as we rope-dropped Remy's), but every other time, we used Single Rider...to the extent of doing it twice in a row in a span of 15 minutes.
