Epcot Rope Drop and our strategy. November 12th,2017

A bit off-topic but will be staying at the Boardwalk in August and want to know what it would be like getting to FEA at rope drop from the international gateway entrance (if I'm using my FPs at another park later in the day). Can I get to it quickly if I'm at the park before the turnstile opens, which I assume is at time of park opening? Also, If I walk quickly will I beat the folks coming in from the front entrance? TIA!

You won't beat them - it's actually just a bit further than the main entrance. But I definitely recommend being there before park opening.
