Epcot rides help!

My husband and I are planning to go to Animal Kingdom on Aug 12th first thing in the morning and then hop to Epcot for the fireworks that night.

Will I be able to hit Test Track, Soarin' and Mission Space before fireworks begin? This is our 3rd trip to WDW so but I have not been on Soarin' or Mission Space ride before because our last trip was in summer of 2000.

The fastpasses will be gone I'm sure by the time we get there. Any suggestions/opinions?

I am not sure, but I think all three rides have single rider lines- you might try that approach if the stand by wait times are high. You are correct, FP's will be gone by then.

What time do the parks close? Don't forget that FW closes earlier than the WS, and that by the time of the fireworks, FW (and all three rides you want to ride) should be long closed.

Actually, although listed as 7pm closing, the popular attractions in Future World continue running until 9pm. This includes Soarin, Test Track, Mission: Space, Spaceship Earth, and one or two more like Ellen's Energy Adventure.
The other side of the problem is the wait times. In June Mission: Space was a walk on every time we rode. Never had to wait more than 10 minutes or so and most times much less. Test Track and Soarin always had long wait times. We used the single rider line at Test Track a couple of times early one morning and we ended up in the same car. This would be a good choice later in the day but the wait would still likely be 20 or so minutes.
The line for Soarin' was really long and we were only able to ride with Fast Passes. Unfortunately, as previous mentioned, Fast Passes for both Soarin' and Test Track will likely we long gone by early afternoon. If you go during an evening EMH the Fast Pass machines re-open on some attractions when EMH begins so grab them right away. We did this at the Studios and were able to ride TOT without waiting on the long line.

Unfortunately I am not staying at a Disney Resort so I am not eligible for EMH.

I hope to be done at Animal Kingdom by late afternoon 4 pm and then will have to hurry over and see what I can get done before it closes.
