Epcot rides, etc for young child with special needs

What do you recommend in Epcot for young child with special needs (multiple disabilities/medical involvement). We will be doing rider swap with my older son on some of the headliners and other rides for taller children and I'm not sure what I should be doing with my other child while they are riding... I hope that is enough info, tia!

My 3 year old has various developmental delays. He really enjoys the Nemo ride, looking around the Living Seas, the Land ride, wandering in Innoventions and poking at the stuff there (ha ha), Journey to Imagination, and just generally walking around and looking at things. Sitting still does not interest him, so we can't just sit and wait. There's lots of fun stuff to look at in the World Showcase and children's activities that your child may be able to do depending on his or her abilities.

Our son had mild CP with various manifestations and loved Soarin recently...before that he loved just the sights and sounds of Epcot. Epcot is a fun park for kids with special needs!

There really isn't a lot in Epcot that a special needs child can't do. It really does depend on the specifics of his problems just what he can't do.

When everybody else is riding the few things he can't do, he can enjoy Innoventions, Living with the Land, the whole Seas pavillion (there's so much more than just a ride and Turtle talk; there's a whole aquarium area to walk around) and even Ellen's Energy Adventure if the wait time for an attraction is long or everybody else will be doing a few headliners back to back. Though, I'm not sure if he can do much in Innoventions. Does he have control over his hands? You really didn't say much about his disability. Most of the Innoventions activities do require use of your hands to really participate; they're "hands on" activities.

Thanks for the input. DS is very small (people mistake him for a baby) and he also has skeletal differences in his upper extremities, and although he can do far more than most people think he can, innoventions sounds like it is out unless he wants to watch. He loves movement and music (honestly i think he is going to love the teacups and Dumbo in MK). He probably would like the aquarium and things
