Ok, our strategy in the past was that at Epcot opening we would high tail it to TT and get FP. Well...now that Soarin' is open, what would you do??
A. Get FP for TT, then stand in line at Soarin' to pass the time for TT FP.
B. Get FP for Soarin', then stand in line at TT to pass the time.
C. Neither of those, here's what I would do.

Does TT still attract the biggest crowd?? I really don't like to criss cross the park a lot.

TIA!

I don't know if they are still testing it or if it is in the live stage. They were playing with having multiple FP at EPCOT. The only thing that you couldn't do was have multimple for the same attraction.

I would do what you said get the FP for TT and then wait for Soarin. The wait times board at Soarin has been wrong on numerous occasions, posting 45 min and only wainting 10 min, then I hit it the other way around waited 45 min and it was posted at 10 min.

Not sure how it would work during the busy season, but when I went on May 14 I rode TT first with no waiting, then MS with no waiting, and then got in the Singles Line at Soarin' with no waiting!! Instead of the Soarin' Singles Line, you may have to grab a FP using this approach. Good Luck.

I would get your fast pass for Soarin first. If you are a single they may not be using the single line if there isn't a crowd. Then head to TT.

When I was there over Memorial Day weekend the wait times for Soarin' were always over an hour, sometimes an hour and a half (though admittedly I didn't check super early in the morning). Test Track wait times were usually under an hour. But more important to me is I find the waiting environment at Test Track more interesting. Louder, for sure, so if noise bothers you then wait at Soarin' which is quiet but more boring, imho.

Aren't we forgetting about a little ride called Mission: Space?!?!? ;)

I've been thinking over this same conundrum, and what I plan on doing is getting the FP for Soarin', cross the park and hit MS first (because its newer than TT), then getting right in line for TT. I'm sure after crossing the park once and going on one ride, the line for TT will be around a half-hour, but its probably better than walking all the way back to Soarin' to wait for an hour...

My DF thinks I'm nuts for plotting out park-opening strategy like this, btw--glad to see I'm not alone!!:earsboy:

Even though M:S is newer, it still doesn't generally get backed up like TT does. I think your better bet is to ride TT, then M:S, just MHO... :cool1:

Wait times last week at Soarin' were horrible all week. Fast passes disappeared quickly. Fast Passes were easy to come by at Test Track. The trouble there was that it kept breaking down. Dh and 2 ds' stood in the 20 min FP line for 1 hour and 45 min!! Every time they went to get out of a line, the CM's would think that the ride was up and running again. Ugh! Soarin was one of the few things dh and I wanted to do last week, but we could never time it right. Oh, well. That's why we have to go back in a few weeks. Right?

Well, here's a plan that worked twice for us last week...

Ride Soarin' if standby is short and then get fastpass for quick return if you want to do it again. While waiting for fastpass time, do Honey I Shrunk the Audience or Journey Into Your Imagination or any Land attractions. Ride Soarin' again and high-tail it to Test Track to get a fastpass. Then proceed to Mission Space and do standby if the time is right (both times we tried this plan it worked with a 15 minute or under wait for MS - could have been luck). Ride Test Track and you've done all four major line rides. We did this starting at park opening. We just didn't want to go back and forth across the park twice...good luck! :flower:
