Right now I have a lunch reservation for Le Cellier but I am considering changing it. What does everyone recommend I change it to?

TIA

Just depends on what kind of food you like....

I don't think you can go wrong in Epcot for lunch choices!

Pick a culture, choose your favorite, or try something new!

My favorite is Biergarten!

If you want something a bit more simple and want to try a counter service location, then I would suggest Sunshine Seasons, located in "The Land" in Future World of Epcot.

LeCellier is nice but on our last trip the steak was better at the Coral Reef. If you are a steak person I would go there.::yes:: The fun thing about Epcot is the variety and just trying new things.

I was considering Biergarten but I don't know much about it. Is it a buffet or a sit down?

I was putting some thought into Coral Reef but I have heard the service there isn't the best. What did you think? I do think that designing your own menu would be cool though!

I had no problems with the service at Coral Reef. We did have a large party-9 people in all-and we had to sit at two tables. They are just not set up for large parties because of the aquarium viewing. We were there during free dining last fall and it was our favorite restaurant of the trip.

Not sure why you'd want to change...

Also not sure whne you are going. I'd probably see what's available, and go from there.

We had GREAT service at CR in March. I think our server was Roberto.

Otherwise, I think every place I've tried over there has it's strengths.

If you aren't sure about the WS, you can also hop over tot one of themany options in the Epcot Deluxe resort area. It's quick hop over from the WS, and a nice break. Thera r e aton of places to choose from over there.

Try Chefs De' France for a late lunch or a early dinner. Be sure to get there before 7:00 PM so you can get the French Menu.

I am leaning towards Coral Reef for an early lunch. We want to try new things this year and have never been there!

Since they changed the menu there is not much that we like. I was considering going to a near by resort.

Has anyone been to the restaurant in Italy? What are your thoughts?

We ate at Teppan Edo last week and it was the best lunch of our entire trip! Delicious!!!!

I have never been to Le Cellier, but we have had lunch twice at Coral Reef-- once in 2001, and just last month.

I highly recommend the food and our service was just fine. It is my favorite Epcot restaurant.

Hope this helps,

Debi

We absolutely loved lunch at Coral Reef last summer. There wasn't a morsel left (2A, 1C), service was good and the tank was a nice treat too.

Kids pizza was a good size, my salmon sandwich was delicious and Mom liked her tilapia too. She also had the strawberry stinger drink which our server refilled (not sure if that was an error, but we didn't even ask, she just did it).

The AC and under water location were a nice respite from the park. In fact it rained pretty hard and we didn't have a clue until I took our 5yo to the restroom in the lobby and saw all of the wet bodies stretched across the floor awaiting their table. Forgive me, but I just could not contain the smirk. We were dry, cool and sated life was pretty good, we'd dodged the rain our whole trip.

Well everyone's fabulous reviews for Coral Reef convinced me to try for a reservation there and I am happy to report that I was able to get an 11:30am lunch on August 19th  Thanks to everyone for your wonderful suggestions!! I just have one more question...has anyone personalized the menu there? I am considering doing this for my dad but am unsure how to do it :confused3

Le Cellier is one of the hardest restaurants to get into at Disney World. Any CM will tell you it is one of the most popular restaurants. Let me tell you, it is wonderful! The Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup and the Filet Mignon is great! We are trying to make a reservation for our upcoming trip and they are booked solid for lunch and dinner the whole week. I recommend you try it at least once because next time they may be booked.

Not to worry, I think OP has been there, but wasn't thrilled with the menu changes so was open to trying something different. Hopefully they'll enjoy CR as much as my family did.

I never tried to get a LeCellier ressie, but Coral Reef was the hardest for us to get last summer.
