Epcot Restaurants-- Help Me Choose!

I am far from a WDW newbie, but I need advice. We just found out that we are making an unexpected trip to see the Mouse at the end of this month! We were just there in October, so this is quite a surprise.

We have two daughters (5 and 2) and we've never taken them to Epcot. So, my husband and I haven't been to Epcot since 1998. We are planning to spend some time at Epcot during this trip and I'd love advice on which restaurants we should choose. I'm trying to figure out which ones would offer the most interesting ambiance and the best food options for my girls.

I'm considering the Princess breakfast in Norway. Is it a must do?

I would love any and all suggestions! We will probably pop over to Epcot several times, so I'm thinking that we might eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner there (spread over separate days) during our stay.

We're taking DN6 but he's a boy, so princess meals just aren't a major priority. He's very well-behaved, so one meal we're doing is Chefs de France. If it were his cousin we were taking, we'd probably aim instead for Biergarten (noise? what noise?), Teppanyaki (all those knives flying around), or Garden Grill (which we're actually doing with DN6 as well).

I've never tried it yet, but Le Cellier is on my must do list for next trip. I've heard the cheddar cheese soup is not to be missed!

I'd recommend the following:

Garden Grill -- Character (family-style) meal (Mickey, Chip & Dale)
Coral Reef -- Watching all the fish go by would probably be pretty entertaining
Le Cellier -- I like dining here.
Rose & Crown -- Very happy here. This is a must dine for me on each trip.

We also love the Rose and Crown, my DH is a brit, the last time we were there was Easter break in 2004 and every afternoon we were there with all the other folks from the UK. DH loves that place. The food is great, service is great.

The other place we eat with consistancy is Alfredo's, it's another good place where noise isn't noticed. The food is pretty good but the service is amazing, we've never had more accomodating staff anywhere. Our last waiter, who's name escapes me, pampered the two little girls (4 and 7) in our party and they just ate it up. Very friendly nice guy from Tuscany.

I've also heard good things about Chefs de France and Coral Reef. We're going to try and hit both while were at Disney in March!

Garden Grill by all means is the greatest for children in Epcot. They have characters all day long. The food is great and they give you as much as you want to eat. Mickey, Chip and Dale have been the characters when we have eaten there. We always enjoy our meal and time there.

I'm taking my girls about that age to Coral Reef to watch the fish (& divers!) while we eat. And the Garden Grill. While I didn't care for the lunch food they served DH and I, I ate the chicken strips & fries off the kids menu and it was very good! I have tastes like a kid I guess. Plus I got some of the best pics with characters at the GG (Pluto licking my face, etc.) and it revolves so that was cool. If they like fettucine alfredo like mine do, I'd try Alfredo's.

My DD's 8 and 6 went to the Norway breakfast a few times, and it is nice but unless your DD's love princesses (which mine don't) they didn't love it. I think we went there for me!

Favorite counter service - Tangerines (Morrocco) they have kid meals,

Favorite lunch spot, sit down - Mexico my DD's love eating "at night" during the afternoon

Favorite snack - pretzel's from Germany or the hot dogs

Favorite dinner - Le Cellier, believe it or not, it is pretty noisy crowd wise and the kids love the desserts

I've been to Alfredo's and prefer the Olive Garden.

I think Le Chef's de France has the most limited kids meals so we avoid it.

Thanks, everyone! I think we'll definitely do the Garden Grill and probably skip the Princess breakfast. I'm going to research your other suggestions a bit further.
