Epcot RD from BC

I just read about someone making a b line for soarin at rope drop and getting on right way.
Well I am staying at the beach club in September and wondering if I do rope drop for epcot do I wait at the back entrance until the park opens or do they let me in and I have to stop somewhere else ?

If I have to wait at the back entrance I would be the a disadvantage to try and get to soarin compared to those at the front gate correct?

You will wait at the International Gateway for Park Opening-once in the Park you won't be stopped anywhere else.

The Main Gate has been known to open several minutes before the IG.

We actually have gotten in before the rest of the park. We went one time and was rounding the corner to go into the Land, and the rest of the crowd was being held back by a rope at the breezeway. It was crazy to see all those people behind us.

So your saying I should be able to get to Soarin first? Hope your right. Most people think they let the main gate in a couple minutes early. When was your trip?

When entering through the IG, there are no guarantees of anything. You could be let in earlier, later or at the same time. The only way you could realistically beat the Main Gate people to Soarin' is if you were let in earlier. I have to say, that has been rare in my experience.

Sounds to me that you are going to be a bit late with all that walking, but otherwise OK. You could marathon it down there, but really? Who wants to do that? Just get to the gateway for rope drop and walk quickly down there. You should be fine, really. Don't stress. Oh, and remember, the reason you are staying at Beach Club is FOR the back entrance, right? I think dealing with front gate parking is way more stress that simply walking and meeting a slight wait for a ride.

First YC stay i used IG and we were let in before opening time by a few minutes. Last stay they wouldn't even let us swipe our bands until opening. If you want to do Soaring with no wait, it helps to take the path through the garden instead of continuing to the main walk once you enter the park. It cuts out the breeze way and some of the uphill part.

When we stayed at BC & YC, they wouldn't even start checking bags until opening.

I guess from reading responses there's no telling but we were allowed in early and walked to the front of the park which was just opening by the time we got there.
