Hi.

We will be in Disney in a few weeks staying at the BWVs. If my mom and I want to sit and relax or read is there a place this can be done? We have been many times with our families and just each other and will be reading the same book on vacation and thought this may be something new we havent done lol. We thought we could walk/scooter from BWVs get a glass of wine and read our books one day before going to Epcot in the evening. We may look silly but who cares. One place I thought may work is the Rose Garden but dont remember the seating.

Thank you all.

There's a quiet spot in the France Pavilion behind one of the perfume, makeup shops. As you come out of the wine cellar into the main courtyard, there's a tunnel that goes past the store into the area. It's also close to refills on the wine.

This sounds exactly what we are looking for and bonus points close to wine refills!!
Thank you so much!

The English Garden will work as long as there isn't a band playing at the time. If it's raining, there is a 'library' at the BCV near the Marketplace.

Oh, and the Bellvue Room at BWI will work during the day if it's rainy too.

Thank you about the English Garden and BWI. The France location sounds even better than my initial thought of the English Garden.

It is a great little spot-the only thing that "may" "interfere" with your reading is that one of the "props" for the France Agent P World Showcase Adventure is in that area so Guests activating that Prop(Agent P "rides" a "zipline" between 2 buildings) will be coming to that area some.:)

That area in France also gets used a bit more during F&W. We tend to go back there and eat, and a decent number of other people do too.

There is a walkway in the China pavillion that is shaded and has benches in it, it is to the right of where the acrobats do their thing. If you go all the way down the path there is rarely anyone down there.

There’s an extremely quiet sort of hidden museum space in the Morocco pavilion with a couple of benches and air conditioning.

I'm js's (OP) mom. Thanks to all who posted with suggestions and helpful hints. Can't wait to try one, or a few, of these spots. Also appreciate the suggestions of where we could go if it rains. Hoping we won't have to deal with that but it's always good to know.

There've been lots of great suggestions, and maybe you'll have time to peek around on your way around the WS to check out some of the spots - I just want to say that this sounds like a perfect way to spend some time to me! My DH has only been once so it wouldn't be a good option for us, but maybe in the future...!

In Future World, there is a large indoor area with tables and a couple of sofas that runs from behind Club Cool to the Character Spot. Restrooms are also there, and I haven’t seen it busy in many years now.

This is what I was going to mention, and the fact that it is right near Starbucks Fountainview, and is air conditioned.

Yes this is a great spot to chill out. I've plugged in my phone to charge and accidentally fell asleep on one of those sofas.

This is our favorite place to get a bathroom that isn't crowded. :)

Don’t be at all worried about looking silly. We saw three people playing Rumikub in HS a few weeks ago. We stopped to chat. They are AP holders who just enjoy being in the parks. So more power to you!

That area in Innovations by Club Cool will be more crowded during F&W. The Light Lab booth is in there and there are booths outside so a lot of people take their food and drinks in there for the AC.
