I am trying to put together a basic itinerary for our trip in a couple weeks and it says on tuesday the 21st, Epcot Future World is having morning magic hours. What is the different between epcot future world and epcot world showcase? are they two seperate parks? I thought epcot was one. Is the world showcase just a certain park of epcot that we won't be able to have access to during the morning magic hours? I'm confused.

EPCOT consists of two separate areas (each opens at a different time). Future World is where the Spaceship Earth is, The Land, Ellen's Energy Adventure, Captain EO, Imagination, ect... It opens first, at 9:00 am. EMH will open it earlier, of course and there will be specific attractions open. (Probably Mission Space, Soarin', Test Track- those sorts of major draws).

World Showcase encircles the lagoon. It consists of 11 different countries and a couple of "rides" neither of which are too thrill based. :) There are movies, natives of each country, shops, and dining options (from snacks to full table service in all but the USA where burgers and chicken bits are considered enough representation of our country).

The WS opens (usually) at 11:00 am. It may open earlier on EMH days and offer the Maelstrom at Norway and the Mexico ride...

WS does allow earlier entry if you have a reservation for the princess breakfast at Norway.

Hope that helps!

... and the Canadian restaurant has some Cheddar/Beer soup that I've never in my life seen offered up here as some national treasure :lmao: In fact I've never seen it offered up here ever let alone a national treasure lol :lmao:

The soup comes from a CM named Sandy, who last i heard was working at Candy Cauldron. It was her grandmother's recipe, and she offered it when Le Cellier changed from buffet to a la carte.

I think she's from Ohio :rotfl:

beer and cheddar soup sounds disgusting. And it makes me think of the nasty beer cheddar soup a guy made on that show Master Chef. Gordon Ramsey almost barfed when he tasted it. :lmao:

In Le Cellier's case, the Cheese definitely stands alone. One of the most transcendental gustatory experiences on Disney property. Thomas Keller, eat your heart out.

OMG that cheddar soup is vile! :scared: It tastes sour and is cloying all at the same time. Ugh.

Why can't they offer poutine? :teeth:

They do offer poutine, but it ain't authentic. No curds.

Nah. That's not poutine then... I didn't even know they offered an approximation. Haven't been to Le Cellier in some time. It lost it's appeal back a few years ago when they mucked with the menu. :confused3
