We have two days at Epcot with Space taking one meal, so will need 3 other meals (i.e. lunch and dinner). Trying to pre-plan so we have an idea where to go for meals.

I only see 2 or 3 ok QS - Sunshine Seasons (which we went to last time and it was good) and Connections Eatery...plus maybe Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie. Anything else recommended?

How does the Food and Wine Festival work? I assume we don't need a ticket ontop of a park ticket to purchase food there? Are they just booths around World Showcase loop? Anything recommended?

Thanks. We're coming end of August so it will be very hot and so don't want to walk looking at menus, etc trying to figure out where to go.

F&W operates out of booths around World Showcase and a few in Future World too. I'd suggest you look at the offerings at those booths before deciding to go for a full meal somewhere else.

It's definitely possible to make a meal out of all the booths but you're likely standing at tables. We still like to do a sit-down (counter or table service) just to have a guaranteed opportunity to sit in the air conditioning and rest/recharge. In addition to those you listed, I like the Mexican counter service (at lunch time can bring your food into La Hacienda and sit). The fish and chips spot in the UK pavilion is good (they do mobile order) and the BBQ spot in the American pavilion gets good reviews. Spice Road Table is technically a table service restaurant but is very easy to do a walk-up. They have a lot of tapas and might be an option for a less filling meal if wanting to save room for F&W treats.

As for popular F&W items, there is a dedicated thread for the festival and you'll likely find some reviews there as more people try things. Also lots of videos on YouTube that can give you a better idea of what the festival is like and see some of the food. Hope you have fun!!

Thanks...yeah that may be an issue if no where inside to eat....but have already noted some booths that look interesting in my planning spreadsheet.
Thanks for the link too, and some suggestions.

I it literally just food booths that are mostly around World Showcase. They do have the concerts in the American pavilion. The food and wine festival used to be so much more. They used to have a bunch of seminars with celebrity chefs and special dining events. I hope they bring those back eventually. But there is no extra ticket or anything, you can just get in line to order from the food booths. The Disney Food Blog has the most detailed information about all of the festivals.

Thank you. Will check out Disney Food blog. Good to know it's not an extra ticket.
You can download the Food & Wine app if you’d like. It’s not a Disney app. It’s very thorough, listing every item at every booth, along with a map that allows you to mark the booths you most want to visit. We find it quite helpful!

80% of my lunch/dinners come from booths during the festivals, I always have hoppers and usually stay at some Epcot resort so just hopping in there after two and getting something to eat then hopping to another park is usually what I do. The rest of my meals are usually HBD Lounge at HS, Nomad Lounge at AK, maybe LaCava at Epcot and maybe one TS meal. I agree with downloading the app. and marking what you think you are interested in, it will even tell you how much you are going to spend. There are a tone of videos out there with people trying the different things.

Neat. Didn't know that an app existed. Will check it out. Thanks.
