This worked out great for us.... 
Arrived prior to park opening. Immediately after the opening ceremony headed right for Soarin'. FP'd Soarin' and got in line. Within 10 minutes we were on the ride! (AWESOME!) Went over to TT and rode in Single Rider line. FP'd TT while DH and DD rode Mission Space (10-15 minute wait). Back to Soarin' and rode with FP. All before an early lunch at the Land Food Court. Yummy sandwiches. Rode Spaceship Earth back to TT and then UofE. Over to Imagination and HISTA. WHEW! And all before 2:30pm! For the afternoon, we strolled around World Showcase. Btw, the HKDL display in the China section is a great place to duck into if it starts to rain! For some reason, no one seems to know it's there! Dinner PS for 6:40p at Rose & Crown. Because it had rained and showers were still a concern, they weren't seating outside, so we didn't get seated until 7:05p. Ate dinner and were "invited"
by our server to sit at a table on our lower terrace and view Illuminations". Walked over and sat down to front row seating to the show!
EMH that evening were a waste of time (Soarin' wait was still 2 hours) so we headed back to the resort and took advantage to the EMSH (extra magic sleeping hours!)
