I love this thread!:cool1:

Is there some place on the board that tells you how to post pictures?

Thanks!

Just How much Photo Equipment do you carry around with you? I see in your signatures you use LOTS of pieces, but which do you take to the parks?

And where did you get the matching Incredibles shirts? I can't find them anymore?

Normally I carry my XT, my 10-20mm, my 30mm 1.4 and use my 28-135IS as my walkaround. If its night time I carry my tripod or monopod.

This year will be fun as it will be the first with my 70-200mm F4L and my flash unit so I'll probably abandon the 28-135IS in favour of these. Oh and I bought an S5IS as backup (and my wife can use it) :)

Cheers

DO you rent a stroller to carry all that stuff?;) Now the question for me after reading all those "codes and numbers" is what the heck is an XT? is that the camera? What about the 10-20mm and the 70-200mm? Is that the lens? Then there is the walkaround 28-135IS:scared: HELP!!!

Sorry - geek mode was on :)

The XT is a Canon Rebel XT Digital SLR Camera. The numbers are the lens specifications - the 10-20mm is a VERY wide lense meaning you can capture almost 180 degrees of what is in front of you.

The 70 - 200mm is a bigger zoom lens (from 70mm to 200mm).

THE 28-135mm IS is an Image Stabilized (think steadyshot on a video camera) lens which can take wideish pictures and zoom in a good bit as well.

Hope that demystifies it a bit.

As for carrying them Ive got a number of bags I use - being 6ft 3 its not a problem :)
