Epcot passports 4x6 photo - Country stamps?

I'm planning on printing the pages for my Epcot passport on 4x6 matte prints. I know that Sharpie ink will dry within a few seconds, but I'm wondering about the stamp that is used at the Kidcot stations. Will that work on matte photo paper? Or is it better if that page is printed out on cardstock instead? I was just trying to avoid printing at home to save ink.

I would definitely go with card stock. I made my DD's passport as a photobook last year and even although I especially went with a (more expensive) brand just so I could have matt finish pages, the stamps still smudged and transferred onto the opposite page when closing the book.
