Epcot Passport

Just wanted to add that I right clicked all the images then saved to my computer I did not have a file.... So I can not send a file. Good luck

Can I please have copies sent to my aol email account - SarahL33 @ aol? Thank you sooooo much!!!

Just got done making my son's passport for our upcoming trip and it looks great. Thanks for the idea and the design. I love ways to save money at Disney (more money for souvenirs and food).

Hi,

Thought I would share my 2 cents! I just printed out the passport pages. You shouldn't need a word doc to do it. I right clicked each page of the passport & saved as a picture which is a gif file. It opened just fine & I could select to print. It really was very easy to do.

I'm pretty happy with the first one I made but I think the next time around it will be easier since I figured out that you need to trim the inside pages smaller than the outside ones & the cover needs to be also slightly larger so it fits around the inside pages. Hope I'm making sense! I also added laminate paper to the outside cover, cut a little larger & folded the edges inside-there was a tip on this thread from someone else!

So for those who are waiting for a email word doc try this first! It just may work for you!

8 days until my first trip to disney!!!

Could I get a copy of the passport also. What a great idea for the kids. I have twin 5 year old boys, and I am afraid they might lose interest in Epcot after 30 minutes. I think the passprt would keep their attention and give them a goal. I think I need to show them a globe so they have a concept of where the other countries are.

Thanks a ton!

I've been trying to do the regular one & the princess one & have been able to format them. Anyone care to share the final results or files? Or tips?

Thank you so much,
Tam

SWEETMONKEY

Hey, I so hope you see this, or if anyone else can help then please do. I have taken sweetmonkey's idea and re-created my own two pages. I can't exactly visualize if this is going to print right. I have printed SOOOOO many copies I hate to waste more ink and paper to find out it's all wrong, AGAIN!
Should the photo ID print directly behind the front cover and the other pic print directly behind Mexico, the one with Mickey in a poncho? This is exactly what I have done, but for some reason it doesn't look like it going to fit together right. I know I should go ahead and just print them all, but I just wished I knew it was right before I did. TIA

When I print them out they are not lining up with each other. If anyone is still sending out the word doc. PLEASE I would love to have it, as I'm about ready to give up on making these passports, and I have put in hours on hours trying to get this straightened out. Not to mention I've gone through a brand new ink cartridge and not even one passport that is usable. awdrey@comcast.net
Thanks

I would love the emailed document too please.

I tried the Publisher way that someone posted about but I cannot figure out how to align all the photos to each other when they are all on different pages. It's pretty frustrating as I am very familiar with Publisher but I must be missing something.

Please email me copies as well!!!

thank you so much!!!

Also, if others could help email copies, that'd be great. I am going under for a while. I will try to stay caught up once a week or so, but I am SWAMPED. We have been in India and I have serious jetlag, am a first year high school science teacher, and have a three year old. I will try to catch up on design requests, but the emails are piling up.

Thanks!

I just want to comment that I have a Mac and wasn't sure how the passport would print. I used the savefile link on page 14, downloaded it and opened it in OpenOffice. Everything worked perfectly - it took just a few minutes and I have a wonderful passport for my DD!

Just a tip on printing: I had to flip the paper to the side to print the second page of each set, not to the top the way I usually flip for printing two-sided things. Make sense?

Havent tried this yet...

but there is a link on post #200 so you can download to your computer into word document. No email is needed.

*Completed Project - I hae just printed and cut out. I used my round corner cutter (from scrapbooking supplies) to round off the corners, instead of trying to cut each corner. Turned out great. I still need to laminate the covers.

Thanks to the creative Disigners for all the goodies on this site.

Thanks for the info....do you know where we can get a copy of the passport that actually looks like a travel passport where you can add a picture?
