I bought an Epcot Passport on eBay for our dd to use and I had a few questions:

Does she place the country stickers that were included with it before we visit the countries or is she supposed to do it while we go to each one?

As far as the "validation" what does that do? I don't see anywhere to "validate" anything.

Thank you so much! :wizard:

Hi. We've bought passports each time we've went. They are wonderful and are another reason Epcot is our favorite park. We put our stickers on before we go, just makes it easier and we never have "lost" stickers. One hint, when they write something down, make sure you or your child notes what it says! We've got home and couldn't remember what some of them said. It's a great way for the host of the different countries to interact with your child! They validate it with a stamp that they have in each country. It's never put in the same place twice. Hope this helps. Enjoy, they are great fun. Janice

My son is going to be 5 during this trip. How much are these passports? Where can you buy them?

What are these, specifically?

We've always bought them at Epcot, I believe the price is still under $10, but I could be off a couple of dollars. Has anyone bought one this year??? They are made to resemble a passport and have a page for every country in WS. As you travel around the person at each country will stamp the book and write a little note in it. It's very interesting and our DD's love to see their names wrote in so many different ways. In my opinion they are so much nicer than any autograph book, although I know I will get "slammed" for that comment. Another reason we started having our shirts signed. The characters get a big kick out of it and our girls are then able to wear them everywhere. We get lots of comments, even after our vacation, where as our autograph books end up at the bottom of a drawer. Just my opinion, plus, one less thing you have to keep track of in the park, the shirts are on their backs!!! You must get a passport, worth every cent. Happy planning, Janice

yes, they were still $10 in Feb. We purchased ours in the store right inside the World Showcase but the sell them anywhere in Epcot.

Our children also did the Kidcot masks throughout World Showcase. The CM in each country was wonderful.

We carried our "stuff" in my son's school backback (large LLBean one) since it has about 10 pockets and it really sturdy. One the last day, when we had our picture taken with Mickey in Toontown my husband thought to ask him to sign the strap of the backpack. We even took a picture as he did. He loved going back to school and showing all his friends the autograph and now every morning has a reminder of his Disney trip.

I love the backpack idea. It would be great for my oldest daughter!!I love reading the boards, I get so many great new ideas, Thanks, Janice
