Epcot or HS on arrival day?

We are arriving at MCO at 10 am on Wed May 9! The kids (14, 12 & 10) are so excited and really want to walk to a park when we arrive (staying at Yacht Club). Now we just need to choose a park so we can get our FPs. I am thinking that i should get nothing before 2 pm, but how late? And which park would be better as a late arrival? (we won't have another day set aside for FPs at whichever park we choose for arrival day, but we likely will return to the park at some point)

Also, if we do HS that day, we will likely use a 3:15 ADR at Sci Fi that we already have and then will build FPs around it.

HS. You already have the DR and the rest of the day should just fall into place. A half day is perfect for that park right now.

I, too, would choose DHS which can easily be accomplished with the time you have available that day. Plus, with Sci-Fi dinner already scheduled - bonus! Why not just schedule your FP+ for around 4 pm, 5 pm, 6 pm? That gives you plenty of time if you encounter delays and, even if you don't encounter delays, it allows a leisurely stroll over to DHS. If that seems too late for you, I would probably schedule one around 2/2:30 pm and then do the rest after your meal.
