Epcot opening

With the different open times for FW and WS how does this affect FEA? Is that open with the park? Anything else open on WS at park open?

Frozen Ever After will open at the same time as Epcot. You will be able to proceed into World Showcase, past Mexico to reach Norway, which will be open. You cannot come from the other direction (should you enter from the International Gateway). The rest of World Showcase opens at 11 AM daily.

Just to clarify that sentence (as it seems a bit confusing when stated that way,)
Guests CAN enter WS in the morning via the International Gateway and proceed to Norway.
But (as you indicated) guests must do so going Clockwise around the lagoon.

Right. I just meant that they can't come at Norway from the China side. The only reason to even do that would be if entering from the IG, though it's actually a longer route anyway. You are, as always, the master of clarity.

Prior to FEA opening, I had heard of plans to open Mexico early as well, to serve as an "overflow" area for the huge Norway crowds. Is this, in fact, happening?

They did that (opened Mexico in the mornings) for about 1-3 weeks when they first opened FEA, then they stopped doing so.

There is always SO MUCH confusion regarding WS and the IG in the early mornings,
the info about it can't be stated often enough.

We would be coming from the buses as we have PPO ADR at Akershus. Planned that so we can get FEA if FP+ is a bust. Just wondered what our touring plan needed to be after that

I would FP Soarin for around 11-12. Then, after FEA I'd double back past Mexico and into FW to ride Test Track stand-by followed by Mission Space. By that time, your FP for Soarin should be rapidly approaching and you can make your way across FW toward The Land Pavilion.
