The first day of our upcoming trip will be June 5th. I had originally decided not to go to Epcot that day because it is Gay Day there and I thought it would probably make the crowds worse. However, I see it is also the final day of the Flower & Garden Festival, which might be worth braving the crowds for. However, the combination of the two is going to mean even bigger crowds, so my question is: For those of you who have been to the F&G Festival, is there enough to see to make it worth braving the extra crowds that day, or would we be better off just going to Epcot a different day? :confused3

We were at Epcot in the evening on the last day of the F & G festival last year, and to be honest, I didn't notice much of an effect on crowds with the festival.

june 5 is supposed to be the day for magic kingdom for gay day. we are arriving june 5 but not going to the parks until june 6. isn't june 5 the last day for gay day

The schedule I have is:

Thursday, June 2nd AK
Friday, June 3rd Studios
Saturday, June 4th MK
Sunday, June 5th Epcot

I have been the last 3 years this same week and the above schedule has held true. You can definitely bet on June 4th at MK being totally packed, Disney sent notices to resort guests last year suggesting that you go to an alternate park.

We have been at Epcot the last two years on the closing weekend of the F&G Festival and have not noticed any effect on crowds either. Come and join us -- we'll be there June 5th also :flower: Hope to see ya'!
