Epcot on July 3

What's Epcot like on July 3? Is MK the only park that ever closes for capacity? Does Epcot get close to capacity on July 3? I was wondering if a huge crowd goes here on the 3rd and then to the MK on the 4th. I'm a firm believer in getting to a park at rope drop, but we won't be able to on that day because we won't get in the night before until 2:00am. Since we couldn't get there until 11:00 or so I was wondering if it would even be worth doing. Does Epcot have special July 4th fireworks on the 3rd like MK does?

Epcot its the most recommended park that day according to easy WDW. Since you will get there late head straight to the World Showcase and enjoy it for several hours.

Book your Fast Passes for the early evening in the front of the park.

Make sure you have an ADR! You will need an air conditioned sit down meal on a day that hot and sticky.

No special fireworks that day, but illumination is always a treat.

More important than anything is to know it will be hot and crowded and adjust your expectations accordingly.
