Epcot on Fri 3/21

Anyone know why Fri 3/21 is considered worst day to visit? I know crazy with spring break next week but planned MK 3/20 and Epcot 3/21 and wondering if there is any reason to switch up our days. TIA

Could it be cause of the Flower & Garden Festival? That Friday Herman’s Hermits will be performing.

They have all Fridays marked as "Busy". It is very often the busiest day of the week at Epcot during Flower & Garden Festival or any of the Special Events aka Festivals.

On top of that, all local public schools in the area are on Spring Break that week. Only saving grace, is it is an AP blockout time. Weekends are popular with locals esp during festivals.

It actually doesn't look too terrible that week! If you ever want to know the absolute worst week to go in the spring, just ping me and I'll let you know what week my kids are off from school. That is always the week!

And so far, a lot of the days for spring break have been coming in at lower crowd levels than originally forecast.

I think Fridays are busy because a lot of locals go on Friday/Saturday to have a night out.

We have plans to go to EPCOT on Friday 3/21 as well. We are AP holders and those dates are not blocked out for us. For the Pirate Pass and Pixie Pass yes, they are blocked. But not for the Sorcerer or Incredi Pass holders. This week was spring break for several colleges but next week are a lot of K-12 schools and the universities (USF, UF are the ones I know about). It may be busy, but we will just adjust our plans based on what we run into.

Yes the 2 lower tier APs are blocked out until 3/22. Here is the list for Florida Spring Breaks beyond University of Florida (March 15-22, 2025), University of Central Florida (March 15-22, 2025).

I had a park reservation for Epcot that day, but cancelled it because I think I will have enough time there Tuesday and Wednesday. If I go it will be mostly for F&G festival so crowds won’t bother me too much.
