Epcot on a Friday night?

What could I reasonably expect to do for the last 2 hours of the day at Epcot, on a Friday night, mid-August? I know a lot of locals show up for F&W on Friday nights. Should I anticipate a large influx of people during those post-work hours, even mid-August? And, how much do those crowds tend to impact Future World?

I'd love to pop over around 7pm to grab a few snacks and maybe hop on a ride or two that were down or that we missed on our full day at Epcot. Is that possible, or should I lower my expectations? (I'm not worried about seeing the fireworks show since we should be able see that on our full Epcot day.)

Wait 90 minutes on Test Track line, ride the ride, then go home.

lol in all honesty, you should be able to grab some snacks and go on the "smaller wait" rides.... Journey Into Imagination, Grand Fiesta Tour, etc.

Have fun!

Future World (except for Test Track and maybe Soarin) tends to have shorter waits in the evening, when everyone's enjoying the festival booths, and a nice laid back atmosphere.

World Showcase is usually too crowded for me on weekend evenings, and there are too many groups living up to their "Drinking Around the World" matching t-shirts, but lots of people love it.
