Any reviews of Nine Dragons?

I have ADR in June, but have never been here before!

My DD's love Chinese food, so I'm hoping that I get good reviews.

We ate there ion November and the food was good. It was the only place in WS that my wife had never eaten - I'd been a couple of times before. It's not the best restaurant in Epcot but it is pretty good. the service is good and it's newly renovated.

I thought it was on a par with local chinese restaurants though - nothing special

I'd echo this sentiment with the following additions :

1. The Honey Sesame Chicken IS a bit above par when compared to what I've had over the years in Chinese food.
2. The atmosphere is nice, but I felt a bit dirty. Then again, I've always find Chinese restaurants to be a bit dirty.
3. They seemed EXTREMELY interested in getting us out of there fast. Our desire to sit and eat slowly almost offended them, I think.

I'd say if you're on the DDP, go for it. If you're not, you'd be just as well served by going to a local Chinese place in Orlando.

We are also considering this restaurant for our next trip and I hope the OP doesn't mind if I tack on another question. We go to Chinese restaurants often and always eat family style - several entrees in the middle of the table that everyone samples. The few reviews I've seen of this place seem to have people getting their own specific order (ie. I had x, dh tried y). Do they allow family style dining?

I just went in December and enjoyed the food there. The new decor is nice too since the renovation. I LOVED the dessert. I had the Banana Cheesecake Egg Roll, and I was in food heaven.

YUM, YUM, YUM!!! We had Thanksgiving dinner there and it was wonderful! I highly recommend the vegetarian tofu dish.

I had the opposite experience of a pp - we lingered over our food, savoring every bite, and received absolutely impeccable service. My water glass was never low, and my mother's hot tea was re-poured often, all without ever feeling intrusive at all.

I found the restaurant to be beautifully renovated and clean as a whistle. :thumbsup2

I didn't notice if "family-style" was a separate option, but my mother and I each chose a dish and we shared.

DH and I eat at Nine Dragons once during each trip. We've not had a bad meal and never felt rushed.
