Epcot morning EMH - Are Joy and Sadness there?

We are thinking of going to Epcot during early EMH on our trip. Wondering if Joy and Sadness would be out early or would it be better to head to Soarin' first and then get in line for Joy and Sadness if they don't come out before regular park open hours? Does anyone know what would be open? We have 2 days in Epcot so will deal with Frowayon day 2. TIA.

They don't meet during morning EMH, only during evening EMH.

However people begin lining up during early EMH and wait until regular park opening

We stopped by 3 times, line was about the same at different times of day. Finally waited about 4pm on a weekday early May: little over an hour.

I'm not normally a big line waiter - but - we have been coming more often so now the novel is as important to us as the tried and true.

What times of day did you stop by? Is there at least something to do in the line whIle you wait?

The other two times were late in the evening the night before and just after RD rides so maybe 10:30ish.

No. Nothing to do but watch the Big Hero Six character line. (There were a few outlets along the wait path to maybe sneak a phone charge for a few minutes).

Bah! So what are everyone's thoughts - do Epcot during early EMH and burn through them waiting for Joy and Sadness? Or go on a regular day and RD? FWIW, I'd send my husband to Test Track either way, DD and I have no interest in riding it and I know he will. At least he might get a couple of rides in while we wait.

I'd personally just go during AM EMH and wait in line. Seems like all day it's a steady 60 min wait wait so I'd just get it out the way in the morning unless you guys are doing TT or Soarin first. Then ride then wait. Or go around noon when it's real hot out and wait in the a/c

That sounds like a plan. Especially since DD and I won't be riding TT - we can send DH to have fun there while we wait for Joy and Sadness.
