epcot monorail question

It has been awhile - if we pay to enter EPCOT, can we take monorail inside EPCOT overto the Grand Floridian and back? Do you have to exit EPCOT and get hand-stamped or not? thanks

The monorail station is outside of Epcot. You will need to get your hand stamped and present your tickets for re-entry.

Also, from the GF, you'll take the train to the TTC, transfer, then take a new train to Epcot. We averaged abt 40 minutes travel time from the CR.

The monorail station is outside the EPCOT turnstiles so even if you never enter EPCOT you can ride the monorail. If you leave EPCOT to ride the monorail get your handstamped. The EPCOT monorail will also not go to the GF you have to transfer at the TTC to the resort monorail that services the three monorail resorts and MK.

Thanks - I was forgetting about "changing trains" at the Transportation Center - we are going to EPCOT, but I thought we might take a break and look at the Xmas decorations at GF

We saw the decorations last year and they were great. I would also just for fun if you have time check out the other monorail resorts as well.
