We will be at EpCot 1 morn at their regular opening time and at least one other night.
However the day we're switching from VWL to BCV Im planning on spending time (about 11-4) at EpCot. Where should we heat to avoid the heat? We do have a lunch PS at LeCellier 230pm

innoventions east and west. there is a lot to see there and you will be out of the heat. :earboy2:

Don't forget Ice Station Cool--sometimes it's snowing in there! Plus, you can sample free cold Coca-Cola beverages from around the world. Spaceship Earth is a nice 20-minute cool, dark escape. At The Land, we enjoy the Living with the Land boat ride and the Circle of Life movie. Of course, there's Soarin' too, I would check out the Fast Pass situation. You could be in that pavillion for a while. I personally enjoy The Living Sea movie (interesting, cool and a chance to sit) and Sea Base Alpha always seems cool--probably that artificial light! Plus, as the earlier poster said, Innoventions has lots of unique exhibits to explore. Have fun!

We did Epcot last Sept. when it was hot, hot, hot! We did the Ice Cool Station, and also went to see the movie in France. The waiting area for the movie didn't have seats, but it was air conditioned, and then the movie theatre was air conditioned. You could sit to watch the movie (you can't sit to watch the China or Canada movies).

This August, I have a lunch planned at Coral Reef for one Epcot day and a dinner for our other Epcot day.

See you there!

A few great, cool attractions to take in - Spaceship Earth, Ellen's Energy Adventure, American Adventure and the movie in France. In them, you get to sit down in airconditioned comfort. The movies in China and Canada are also cool places, but you have to stand.

Also forgot to add that in each country you can take a "shortcut" :) through the airconditioned shops for a break from the heat.

I agree that you need to plan to hit some of the indoor attractions. You might plan to start in Mexico when WS opens and work your way around to your PS at Canada. By the time your're finished eating and you walk over to BCV it should be getting close to 4:00.

As has been posted, most of the Future World attractions are indoors (and air conditioned). It's just getting between them that will be brutal. FW also has misting stations all over the place which are great for the hot weather.

We've been down there on some brutally hot days. One day I saw a bunch of people walking around with the umbrellas from China to keep the sun off them. not a bad idea.

Any of the rides will be a great "get out the heat" escape. The living seas will be quite amicable and don't forget to go the American Adventure. It's my favorite nap place. :teeth:
