Epcot Member Lounge questions

Great you said the magic word - coffee!
The Keurig is a single serve coffee maker. I believe you need to ask the CM at the desk for the k-cups.
Soft drinks available from a Coke Freestyle machine.

We went on two oaccasions. Both time we didn't get snacks and there was nowhere to sit. We did wait an hour no snacks. The soda machine was cool though.

We visited last summer just to see what the lounge was like. We sat down for a few minutes, had some soft drinks and looked at each other like "What are we wasting time here for?" If someone really needed a break the lounge serves a purpose but I don't know that we'd go back. I will say the Visa lounge in WS was a most welcome respite during a big downpour during that same trip. :earsboy:

Ugh, Why is it only staying open for the rest of this year?
We just got back from a vacation and really liked the lounge (even though I did make a joke that I had the most expensive "free" coke in my lifetime, haha). I even mentioned to my wife that I think there should be a member lounge at each park for us!

I'd be more excited if they would put a rapid refill mug station in the lobby of each DVC building. It can be quite a long walk to get a refill at some of the DVC locations.

Nice idea but won't happen. Rapid Fill profit exists because people buy the mugs and don't use them due to the inconvenience of the refill locations.

Also, after putting in ice, the mugs hold maybe 8 oz of soda.

I was there last weekend, there was a wait and we were told to give our phone number and we would be texted a reservation time. 2O minutes later we got a text that said you have 30 minutes to claim your reservation. The freestyle soda machines are great and yes the snack lady is mysterious. She comes out of nowhere with reduced fat Doritos, baked lays, cheeze it crackers, Oreos and gummy bears. We were in there for about 90 minutes and saw her just as we were ready to leave. It really is a great space to relax, furniture is comfortable with tons of charging stations built in.

We went in 3 times during our trip last week and didn't have to wait to enter at all. I guess it's like anything else at Disney some weeks are busier than others. I found it very relaxing to put my feet up and enjoy a cold drink. We got snacks 2 out of 3 visits.

Hi I'm from the uk,what drinks r available at the dvc member lounge in Epcot? Is it just soda? I read something about a Keurig machine but don't know what that is?
It's not just soda in the Coke Freestyle machine. My kids had Dasani flavored water, and I had a Dasani Sparkling water (lemon/lime flavor).

Here's a link to the choices in a freestyle machine: http://www.coca-colafreestyle.com/choices/

We went in January 2017. I just needed to show my DVC card and my adult kids were able to go in with me. What I really liked is they had pc's there with printers. I was able to check into my flight the day before and print out boarding passes.

They should eliminate the "guests" policy. We tired to get in twice during our last vacation and both times we were told there was a waiting list. When I asked how ling they told me about a half hour. Sadly, to say we were never able to actually get in. Would have liked to have at least seen it. It was frustrating non DVC guests were able to get in when I couldn't.

Should be DVC members only.

It's not put on with member dues and seems good for guests being able to join. It is limited on the number - Member plus 5 I think? How awkward it would be if you had non-members on your trip and you waved bye while you headed to the lounge. Since they offer a service to text you when you can go up I think it's all done quite reasonably.

We checked it out in January. Got the snack lady twice in one hour, plus the Freestyle machine was cool. The people ahead of us at check-in didn't have DVC cards, and their names were nowhere in the system. Though they argued and made quite a scene, the CM was unruffled and simply wouldn't let them up. They will, btw, just check your photo id and match it to your name in the system. We did leave to use the restroom once; they ask that you notify them before you go back down so they know you will be returning and will "hold" your place.

But now I must relive a rather singular horror, one I have attempted to wipe from memory. The seating areas have low tables, which one would assume were for folks to put their purses, bags, phones and of course, their snacks and drinks on. One would not, therefore, take off their disgusting sandals and put their *filthy filthy filthy* feet right on the table. And then talk loudly on their cell phone for 45 minutes.

I can't believe this has to be said, but if you enjoy the DVC lounge, DO NOT PUT YOUR BARE FEET ON THE TABLES.

I mean, come on.

Okay, other than that, the DVC lounge is fantastic!

What about members' kids? And other family members? As Kat4Disney said, its limited to member + 5 guests. We're here now with DS, DDiL & their 3 kids, plus my sister. So I guess we can't use it, unless someone stays outside, or they allow us one extra guest since both DH and I are members.

I think that is how it would work since both of you are members. Each of you could bring in up to 5 guests so you should be fine.

If I am the DVC member and go in with my mom and kids, would my mom be allowed to stay and relax if the kids and I decided to leave?

Also, wouldn't it be great if there was a DVC member lounge in each park?
