I'm trying to decided between dinner at the Biergarten or either doing the Garden Grill character meal. It would be for Dh, my two DS' (aged 4 and 1) and me. We are already scheduled for 3 other character meals but didn't know if any of you guys would recommend one over the other.

We LOVE Beirgarten. The food is so good and they have a great music show where the kids can get up and dance on the dance floor that is in the middle of the restaurant. The atmosphere is so nice too.

Both are good but the food at Biergarten is better and the atmosphere is wonderful. Since you have other character meals planned my vote would be Biergarten.

Another vote for the Biergarten. We just ate there the Saturday after Thanksgiving and we ate so much we both felt sick after. Remember that you will be sitting with four other people but that's usually not a problem. Do NOT miss the cheesecake if they have it. I had three slices and my husband (not a cheesecake eater) had two. After, we said we could easily go there and do nothing but desserts. Here's my hint - when you go for your "real food", take a plate with some desserts on it. Then eat those with your meal. Why wait until you are stuffed and miss out on dessert?

Definitely Biergarten, especially since you have other character meals planned.

Yes, SplashMountainMama, it is all German, but I don't think you have to be at all "adventurous" to appreciate it. Lots of meats, potatoes and noodles, that I can remember. A great assortment of "cold cut" type meats with yummy, mild cheeses and great breads...and one of the best chicken noodle soups ever. 6 members of my family over 3 generations unanimously enjoyed the food and atmosphere, including a few very non-adventurous types. Plus you will find more choices at a buffet for picky eaters, rather than the pre-plated arrangement at GG.

Thanks for the info. Sorry, to the OP, I didn't mean to hijack your thread I just have always been curious, but forget to ask.
