Epcot Major Announcement Thursday?

Any chance they leave Mike up for a couple evenings? We head down to wdw on Wednesday, and I'm sure my son would love to see it.

I think OKW Lover wins the pool for it just being another Limited Time Magic.

It was underwhelming considering we'd all heard about the 24 hour day already. They did say there would be some more announcements this morning didn't they? Any word on those yet?

As others predicted, Disney doesn't typically have any big reveals at these press events. Look at the Disney Springs announcement a few weeks ago. That's a huge project which will be in progress for nearly 4 years, and Disney only invited a handful of bloggers and local reporters to the reveal.

The point of these major press events is to drum up business NOW--not to announce a new attraction which may be 2-3 years down the road.

If Disney has any big announcements planned this year for future projects, expect it at the D23 Expo in August. But even that could be spoiled weeks ahead of time.

* Star Wars Limited Time Magic on May 4th
* New parade at MK next year
* Upgrades to Disney Magic cruise ship

Thank you, that all makes sense and I hadn't really thought of it this way. :)
The new parades are exciting though:)

Sounds like fun for the folks that'll be there. Otherwise pretty underwhelming. :s
