Epcot lunch

Our first full day we are heading to Epcot. That evening we will be at MNSSHP. Looking for a good, big lunch so we can grab CS at the party that night for dinner.
Choices are
CR, R&C, Tutto, Via Nap
There is other avail but not really interested in them. Would love to try LeC but of course it is full since this wasn't planned 6 mths out.
What would you guys choose? Want something good b/c the remainder of our TS meals are character/buffet/family style types except Kona.

I haven't been to CR or R&C but we like Tutto a lot. The portions are pretty big and good too. I didn't like VN when we went, I had the pizza and it was okay but the regular meal my DH had was not good.

Well, I'm not a fan of buffets but I am a new fan of Via Napoli. We had very good pizza a Disney for the very 1st time since it opened in 1971! We had the mushroom pizza (my personal favorite), cheese, and a cheese and peperoni and my son pasta with peas and chicken. Also they serve a lovely house salad. Disney needed a decent pizza place!

No, Via Napoli is not a buffet.

Of the restaurants on your list, I would choose the Coral Reef. I think they do an excellent lunch and, of course, dining inside such a large aquarium is a pretty unique experience. I tend to eat lighter there but you could easily make it a "big" meal if you wanted to. They've got great desserts!

No, Via Napoli is not a buffet, I guess I worded it strangely! What I meant is we tried it for the 1st time in August and really enjoyed it and really the only buffet I like at this point is Boma!

Not on list: Chef de France to see Remy. The kids may enjoy that.

Another vote for R&C! We love to have a late lunch here and then monorail to MK for the evening.

We love R & C, especially if you are paying OOP because it is fairly reasonably priced and tastes great.

We've been to all of the restaurants on your list at least once within the past year or two, and would absolutely recommend Via. I'd rank them as follows:

1) Via. First, great atmosphere. It's light and airy with high ceilings and hardwood floors. Everything we ordered was great, from the caprese salad to the pizza to the sangria. Our family of five has very different tastes (from adventurous eaters to very picky eaters) and every one of us loved Via. In our experience, the service is quick, friendly and efficient. It's at the top of our list now, and always in our rotation.
2) Rose and Crown I really enjoy R&C. The vegetarian shepard's pie is really tasty and very filling and the beer flight is lots of fun! Some of the other items are just OK, but I would go back for these items and for the extremely friendly service.
3) Coral Reef Really interesting interior and so well-themed. We all loved the corn chowder. Kids weren't thrilled with the kids' menu and warn against the meaty macaroni based on the onions, but that's an item common to many WDW restaurants, and can be avoided. Service was OK on our last visit. I should add that even though our kids (ages 4, 11 and 12) enjoy the aquarium, they voted to take it off our rotation for our most recent trip because other Epcot restaurants were higher priorities for them.
4) Tutto I loved Tutto years ago, but now prefer other Epcot restaurants - especially with the Via option now available in Epcot. The food is fine and very filling, but the service is not as child-friendly or welcoming as we expect at Disney. If we're eating in World Showcase, we prefer the food and atmosphere at Via, Chef's, Le Cellier and La Hacienda. They are just more our style (and the CMs are far more family-friendly, in our experience.)

We've only done CR. We have Rose and Crown booked for our Xmas dinner this year. And I'd love to go to Via Nap for some margarita pizza. Any seem to be good choices...though your kids may really dig the aquarium of CR.

Out of your list I live Via Napoli the best, but I would consider Chef de France. It is our favorite place for lunch! We always get the price fix menu and it is SOOOO good and we always leave full!

Creme brulee - vanilla creme brulee and a madeleine OR Profiteroles au chocolat - Puff choux with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce

So the Chefs menu does sound yummy. I never even considered it before. I scored a ressie there for 12:10. Guess we will give it a try unless my stalking of the site for a Le Cellier lunch produces some luck.

I've done lunch at VN many times and it is always excellent..Tutto is great too but I would rather pizza from VN
