Epcot LLMP - possible to get all 3 tier 1 after tapping into first ride?

Hi everyone, hoping for some help with epcot strategy. I'm trying to decide if LLMP is worth it for our group for epcot. I see that most don't recommend LLLMP at epcot. Our group has a lot of young kids though. 5 kids age 2-7. One has autism and will be extra hard to wait in lines. My sister in law is going to try to get DAS for him. I'm assuming if they get it that it will just cover their immediate family, not all 12 in our group, but we don't know yet.

Most of the strategies I see for Epcot without LLMP include rope drop or evening hours. With our kids ages, I don't see either of those being likely.

Last year when we took my two kids (6 and 3 at the time) we would let them sleep in (exhausted from day before) eat breakfast in the room while getting ready and not rush too much to get to the parks. Once there, we'd try to make it till fireworks, then repeat again the next day. We're tentatively planning the same this year. Probably realistically leaving the room (all star sports) around 9-9:30ish.

All of that said, I think we would be willing to pay for LLMP if we thought we could actually get Remy, Frozen, and Soarin. Am I dreaming? Is that definitely not possible? Say I book Remy as my tier 1 and an early-ish tier 2 (9:30-10:30 or 10-11). After we tap into the tier 2, could I book frozen and change our other tier 2 to soarin? Or will frozen be gone before we get a chance to do this?

We'll be at epcot on January 24th, which should have lower crowd levels. But of course I'm trying to plan this out now and when I check thrill data it's for some of the busiest days of the year, so hard to get a sense of when these tier 1 rides will realistically sell out after the holiday rush is gone.

Open to any advice for groups with small kids! If it was just adults, we'd have no problem waiting in a couple long lines. Hour long waits are a lot more daunting with young kids (especially 5 of them together!)

Thanks in advance!

I think it depends on what time of year you’re going. When we were there end of Aug/Sep we were able to do all theee of those attractions although frozen and remy were towards the evening. Crowds were extremely low, however, when we went.

I had zero luck getting a Frozen LL as a 4th pick when I was at WDW in mid-Nov. I started checking as soon as I used my first LL, and had purposely booked it quite early in the morning just so I’d have a shot at Frozen. Even with lots of modify/refresh action I couldn’t land it. And I was solo. YMMV, however. The line for Rwmy goes down considerably in the evening, so if you're willing to wait until then you should be ok with that one.

Soarin is almost always available for immediate-20mins return time so don’t worry about that one. If you want to pick up Remy & Frozen you need to tap into your first LL ASAP, literally at park open, to even have a shot with a group that large and know it will probably be a late night return if you can get it.

You will not be tagging along on the DAS. DAS, if it’s even approved, is DAS user + 3, sometimes exceptions are made to exceed the limit for immediate family that aren’t adults.

I had much better luck scoring Remy as a second LL in early Sept than on my mid-Nov trip where I had no luck. The Sept trip was during some of the lightest crowds WDW sees though and I was running solo instead of with a group.

Good point about the group! We were a party of 2 and I’m sure that made quite a bit of difference than if we were a larger group, like OP.

We were there throughout December, no luck with ever getting Frozen as a pick up. Soarin was easy. We did pick Remy as our number 1. After a while we tended to just purchase LLSP for guardians and not bother with LLMP for Epcot. But if you have just one Epcot day, I would recommend LLMP - prioritize Remy, and spaceship earth as they had longest queues. Have Land or Nemo as third one. You might have to queue for frozen but ensure one of your LLMP you can use asap on entering and try for a very late frozen or an earlier soarin.

You can definitely get Soarin but picking up Frozen maybe difficult. I would do a throwaway LL for 9am but you would need to tap in as early as you can then you may get Frozen for later in the day. It would requiring getting to the park by 9am.
If that doesn’t work, Frozen usually drops in wait during fireworks so you maybe able to do SB line.
I was able to get an 8:30pm Frozen with a lot of refreshing once.

We went in late August, which is one of the slowest times of the year. The only way to get Remy and Frozen was to prebook Remy and a 9 am throwaway pass (Pixar!). The only Frozen times to book at 9 am were well into the evening. Soarin was easy enough to get same day. I don’t think we could have done a leisurely breakfast and still been able to get Frozen.
Details from our trip you may or may not care about: We did two days of LLMP with Park Hopper tickets. Our first day was a MK party day with 8 am opening. We booked 8:30 am HM, then immediately booked Frozen for late in the evening since we were going to Epcot for fireworks. We used the other two LL slots to roll through MK rides and then grabbed Soarin for late afternoon when we headed back to hotel for break. Day 2 we did EE at Epcot, walking on Soarin. We had a prebooked 9 am throwaway and a 10:00 Remy. Once we tapped into Pixar, we had the option of a late evening Frozen, but we opted to hop to HS for a midday MMRR instead.

OP--Your plan could work, but will it? It depends on the time of year you're going, how crowded it is that day, and how early you get to Epcot and how late you stay.

A PP mentioned a long line for Spaceship Earth. SE has a relatively fast-moving queue. It's also usually extremely easy to pick up a LLMP for it. That'd be the least of my concerns at Epcot.

Your main problem is wanting LLMP for both Remy and FEA. Really, the best strategy to get in both those rides is to use Early Entry (since you're staying at an All Stars) for FEA and then make a mad dash for Remy. By the time you'd finish, the line for Soarin' probably wouldn't be all that bad.

I realize you said that early entry was probably not going to happen, but I thought I'd throw this out there in case you might change your mind.

Remy will already be slammed. It will be close to park open by the time OP makes it to Remy and by then it's already reaching full wait times. Saw so many people heading to Remy at like 8:55 my last trip and the wait time was already near the day's peak, what a waste of their morning hours.

Thank you everyone for all of the feed back so far! A lot of people said it depends on the time of year. We'll be there January 24th. I thought that should be a slower time, but with MLK day the weekend before then it might still be a bit crowded.

I'm definitely still open to hearing any other feedback from people's experiences attempting to get both Remy and Frozen (whether successful or not).

Right now I'm leaning towards getting LLMP for our group. One of the things I was looking forward to potentially not having LLMP was not having to zig zag all over the park based on return times. Maybe I will be successful trying to get LLs in a somewhat strategic ride order.

We are big fans of LLMP. We were there during and right after Veterans Day. Even figment was 25, and all the other easy to get LLs were 20-45. By the time you add up SE, Nemo, Land, Soarin, Figment, and Mission Space (green), we saved almost 3 hours of waiting. It adds up. I pre stacked Remy, and did get frozen by fiddle-fiddling ,but it was for 8:30 right before park close.
