Epcot innovations question

I have two deaf children both with cochlear implants. I really think they would love innovations' hands-on exhibits but I am worried about static. It could wipe out their programs if they touch that static globe thing (forgot the name). How many of these are there and is there anything else like this I need to watch out for in the parks?

I am not sure of the answer to your question as I have not spent much time in there. Here is a link with detailed info on Innovations...http://allearsnet.com/tp/ep/e_innov.htm hoperfully after reading it you will find the answer. I would also ask a cast member upon arrival to double check so as nothing happens to the implants.
