Does anyone do Epcot in 2 days? The past 2 trips our family and it works out so much better if you have the time. We do the World Showcase one day and then we usually go to DT or resort hop the rest of the day. Another day we do future world and maybe do Ak too. That we dont have to rush through the countries to go up front to do everything. Its really nice. We do tried to do Epcot in one day it just wore us out and we missed so much of the little stuff. I was just wondering if we were the only people who have done this. If you havent and if you have time-try it! :cool1:

This is the only way to really see everything. We do two full days at Epcot with an afternoon break both days. There's so much to see, and if you take the time to slow down and browse and watch the entertainment, it's so much more enjoyable.

we have never done 2 days at Epcot before but always realize after we leave that we've missed a lot of stuff! We are going back in December and have scheduled 2 full days at Epcot.

I thought this would be the least interesting park--- :confused3 I didn't know it was going to be so cool. We did end up going back in the evening, but that still was not enough--next time we plan to do 2 days!!!!

Heh, I go to epcot almost every day, since it's the only park that's open at night many times when we go. I go to a ride or two in Future World, then walk around WS and catch some entertainment and window shop there. and I STILL haven't seen everything!

:sunny: After having done Epcot in two days we never realized how much you do miss if you only do this park in one days. It just amazing how much "little stuff there is to see" All the performers at the World Showcase, the shops, charaters. Up front you have to make time for test track, soarin, living seas ect. I 've never realized how big that park really!

I wouldn't want less than 2 days at Epcot. My wife and I spent 2 days there last time, and still felt like we could have used another half day.

Epcot is our favorite park :woohoo: - we generally try to be there a minimum of 4 half days...I say that because we like the evenings there best of all. We've had a couple of two week vacations to wdw and we have literally gone to Epcot for as many as 8 half days during that time! :teeth: I think you are right about people needing the time to enjoy it. It isn't a park that you can just rush thru commando style! You miss everything that is there. We always see families, however, jogging around the World Showcase Lagoon saying, 'this is all that is here?' !!! They aren't even looking in the direction of the buildings! :rotfl:

I always give a day and a half for both MK and EP! My first day is always MK then the next is EP and then a day to MGM and half a day to AK and DTD and then the last day we start out in EP and end the night at MK watching spectro and wishes..

Of our 10 park days on our next trip 3.5 of them are in Epcot.

I would never dream of trying to get it all done in 1 day. Yikes.

I LOVE Epcot. We only have 4 park days this trip (plus MNSSHP on our arrival/non-park day). Since it is my kids' first every WDW trip, we HAVE to allow 2 full days to MK, and since we are 'zoo nuts', we've got to see AK (my first time at AK). That leaves just 1 day for Epcot (and no MGM). If I had a 5th day, I would add a second Epcot day before adding the first MGM day. There is SOO MUCH to do at Epcot. I have spent 2 days there before, and agree - one full day at the Future world (with the extra 2 hours in the evening spent at World Showcase), and then a second day at World Showcase. Taking the time to dig in to each country, talk with the CM's from their respective countries, checking out the shows, restaurants, rides/exhibits and gift shops for each country uses a full day.

We planned for 4 half days last trip and still didn't have enough time to see it all. I had the most trouble planning this park because of the odd operating hours. We saw nearly everything in Future World but World Showcase was a problem. We would go to another park in the morning and then try to get over to WS after a short break but seemed like we missed a lot of the entertainment because a lot of it is happening between noon and 6 pm so if you do the afternoon break thing you miss out. You can't plan a 2nd half of your day in Future World either because they usually close at 7 pm and after our experience with EMH last trip I would never go to a park with EMH again.

I'm thinking next trip we will tour WS on a day when we sleep in late and then be there at 11 am and just spend the rest of the day/evening there. Might have to add a couple of extra days to our trip to make this work but I find nothing wrong with this!! :cool1:

We've used WS as our day to sleep in too! I believe on our Christmas trip of 2005 we had a very late breakfast at Norway around 10:00am so we had a hour to eat breakfast until WS opened and then we justed at that end of park the rest of day and took it easy. Its soo nice knowing you're not rushed and have to go to the front of the park to do Test Track,Soarin,MS. You just can take your time w/the countries and enjoy what each country has to offer.

DD has informed we that for this trip, since we are at the Boardwalk, we will be going to Epcot quite a few nights to see Illuminations! Fine by me! Epcot is beautiful at night.

I also like to go for the morning over to Future land. Love Soarin' and Spaceship Earth, and the fam loves TT.
