Epcot Illuminations HA viewing area

How far before the show should you get there? And where is it? I've never used the HA viewing area before, just grabbed a spot where I could see the show a few minutes beforehand. But knowing that the current Illuminations show is ending, I want to get one good watching in when I go in mid-September.

There are reserved viewing spots for guests with mobility devices all around World Showcase. Scope them out ahead of time for which view you want. They usually open at 8 pm but fill up quickly. You should expect to be allowed to have one person in your party stay with you, and that person needs to stand behind your mobility device.
