Epcot ice cream social

Hello -

Is the ice cream social with characters still going on at the Garden Grill? I don't recall hearing much about it lately and don't see it mentioned anywhere recently.

It's still going on. I just booked a PS for Dec 9th.

great character interaction - ice cream was good too

We did the ice cream social on our May trip and it was so much fun. We don't have children and still the characters still stopped at our table. My husband thought I was nuts for wanting to do it but he had a lot of fun with it and enjoyed the ice cream.

Yes. They don't take walkups because they have to prepare the ice cream in advance.

this was great we went the first week of dec and had the place to ourself what a blast for the kids

I just booked a PS for our NOV trip and was given a choice of times, I think it was like 3 or 5 different times offered.

I also booked this for our trip in November. I'm doing it on our first day, thought it would be a great way to introduce the kids to the characters in a smaller setting. And having some ice cream is always nice.
