Epcot Hours were Wrong on Disney.com

Yesterday (10/20/01), Disney.com posted revised October WDW calendars. According to these calendars, Epcot Future World and Epcot World Showcase would both be open form 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. In other words, Future World would open an hour later, but World Showcase would open an hour sooner. I was happy. And it made sense because of the Food & Wine Festival in World Showcase.

The hours have just been updated again. See Disney.com's Park Hours for Epcot, October 2001.

Now, for the remainder of October, Epcot Future World will be open from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. And Epcot World Showcase will be open form 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

So the unofficial WDWIG.com site was right yesterday. It appears that Disney.com posted the longer hours in error.

Just now (12/21/02, 12:35 p.m. CDT), I noticed that the calendar of Epcot hours is still in error.

The calendar shows Epcot World Showcase opening at 12:00 a.m. -- that's midnight -- for the rest of October.

I'm sure they really mean noon (12:00 p.m.), not midnight.
