Me and my gf are going to Epcot on Thursday Jan. 4th and the last time I went was Decmeber last year! So i was wondering is there anything new????? And how are the crowds does anyone know? Can someone help me plan out the rides and all the countries so we get the most out of our day????? THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!!

ok. crowds shouldnt be bad.

Get there at opening. Go STRAIGHT to The Land and get a fastpass for Soarin. Head out of the land and go into the character connection to enjoy private time with the characters (seriously, you should have them to yourselves) Depending on your time frame here, head back to the land and ride Soarin, or ride Living with the Land before Soarin. Grab a morning snack if youd like down in Seasons And ride soarin. Head over to the Seas and get in line for the next Turtle Talk. Trust me its amazing. Dont miss it. Ride Nemo and then head back to spaceship earth.then head to Test Track, if the wait is under 20min. do the reg. line. Otherwise ride single rider, usually you'll end up in the same car anyway. Next Mission space. Do Universe of Energy only if you want. I personaly see it as a waste of 37 min. (yes thats how long the whole ride is) Make your way back over the imagination pavilion and ride Figment, and then Honey I Shrunk... Make your way into the World Showcase, starting with Mexico. If you're old enough, get a margarita, and enjoy Rio Del TiempO (though i think its closed for rehab) make your way into china and have lunch. On the cheap, you can get their kids meal (pork fried rice, eggroll and a drink for 3.99) Its tasty and not too much food. Head around the world showcase, looking at what you want. Make sure to see American Adventure and the British invasion. Consider calling 407-WDW-DINE and making an advanced dining reservation (like call today) for dinner somewhere around the world. Germany is one of the cheaper restaurants. With Le Cellieure and Alfredos being two of my fav. more priceyer choices. (google wdw menus for options) After you finish the WS. Make your way back to future world and ride anything you want again or just hang out and people watch. For Illimunations I recommed getting something for dessert, and grabbing a spot 45 min. before show time right on the water at the entrance to the world showcase (future world side) you'll have the best view imo.

And thats how I do epcot in a day. Good luck!

Thats really good advice I might take it THANKS!!!!! I just want to see what other people have to say, anyone????? My gf loves China/Japan so is there anything fun to do there?????

China has a nice movie in a 360 degree theater. If she's a big fan, check it out.

Also, Japan has the Mitsukoshi Department Store, where you can find all sorts of cool things, including getting your own pearl from an oyster, the candy lady (make sure to check her out!), and all sorts of interesting Japanese products to buy (from snacks to plum wine and sake to clothing). There's also a nice, relaxing koi fish pond and the Japanese drummers are really cool.

The Japan pavilion is one of my favorites in all of EPCOT.

I believe Disney has added a tamer version of Mission: Space since last December. If it's already been there longer, I still say try it! (Either version.)

China has wonderful gift shops. Definately browse through them! (Or any other shop in World Showcase- They're all good.)

Japan has pearl in the oyster. I think for about $20, you can open an oyster and get a pearl. Oh, I also love the Japanese drummers.

You don't have to do this (but I always do), make a KIDCOT mask, color it, and walk through the World Showcase. When you get to China or Japan, ask for the KIDCOT station location. In both countries, they will write your name in Chinese or Japanese.
