It seems my childhood has gone forever, what happened to the rides mentioned. Does anyone remember them and want to be nostalgic ??:earsgirl:

The Horizons building was torn down and replaced with Mission: Space that just openend recently. I like Mission: Space, but can only do it once per trip because it does mess with my equilibrium a bit.

I loved Horizons!!!! It had Walt's ideas all over it!!

The World of Motion building was gutted and Test Track! was installed.

I never experienced the original World of Motion. I do enjoy Test Track!!

It was time for a face lift.... they incorporated Test Track into the building that was World of Motion, bringing things more up to date.

As for Horizons, it is the 1st time that a building was fully demolished and another was built to take its place. Mission: Space is a wonderful new addition to Future World.

Both of these attractions are Headliners with great attendance, having put Epcot on the map again for parks to visit.

I look forward to the additions to the Land Pavillion when Soaring Over California opens next year, too. The building is going up, as we speak.

Change is good... we should embrace it!

I'll get nostalgic with you! I loved them both and while I haven't been on Mission:Space yet I suspect it will make me sick to my stomach! I'm apparently one of the few that think Test Track is vastly overrated and not worth waiting longer then 5 minutes for.

They also changed the ride at Imagination and the new show IMHO SUCKS!

While I never much cared for Horizons, I do miss the World of Motion. I thought the humor in the various travel scenes was great!

I love test track but miss Horizons terribly. It was my favorite ride in all of Epcot. I would have been happy going on nothing else. I'm looking forward to riding Mission Space but Horizons will always have a special place in my heart.

I liked the World of Motion, but in my opinion Test Track is an improvement. I remember going on the WOM and being almost the only people on the ride. While it was fun, it was not very cost efficient.

Horizons has only been open occasionally the week we usually vacation (last week of August). It was a great ride and I will miss it. I am looking forward to Mission Space being open all year round (hopefully it won't make me sick!).

I agree with Disney Debbie - the new Imagination show is the pits! Were they trying to revamp the ride for under $100? It looks like it.
