can anyone please let me know if the enjoyed (or did not ) eating dinner at germany in epcot. it is the ony ADR we were able to obtain and want to cancel it if we do not intend to go. does anyone know if they have a childrens menu?
thanks

It's a buffet. There is no separate children's menu, although there is a reduced price for the full buffet for children age 3-9. Children can select any item they want off the full buffet.

We really enjoyed it! The food is really good. When we went we didn't have an ADR and got in after a 40 minute wait. Entertainment was done for the night which I heard is a lot of fun to watch. I'd definitely keep your ADR there.

The Biergarten is one of our favorite restaurants! The selections on the buffet are great. The entertainment is wonderful. We always have great service here, too.

It's great. We are a large group and get our own table. Otherwise it is family style and you may have another group at your table. Don't let that keep you away though. It is a friendly atmosphere, there is a good show and there is nice German food that is not intimidating if you are new to German food.

Someone posted that they went when the entertainment was done for the night. Is there certain (or better) times to go if you want to enjoy the entertainment while dining?

we love Biergarten. The food is very good.......and I remember we had a few items that a child would like also.......Mac and cheese believe it or not.....chicken roasted.......potatoes and lots of sausages and one that was very near a hot dog.......carved meats too......I love the breads and the soup...that was my favorite part

Just ate there for the first time on 11/24 and loved it. The food was excellent. Lots to choose from. Entertainment was good. The only thing I didn't like was that the tables were very close together. I was a little uncertain about sitting with other people but it worked out fine. The two other groups that were sat with us ended up being from the same country (I think Italy) so they spent the whole time talking to one another in their own language which was fine with my husband and I. I plan on going here again on our trip next year.

We love it. Last visit there it was me, my wife, and our 6 year old daughter. The food is buffet style and GREAT! Then again, we love german food\sausage fare etc. The show is fun to watch, and it's a great atmosphere.

We have made it a point to try and eat there every trip. Well worth it!

We wound up going last year for Thanksgiving Dinner. We're not huge buffet fans, but wound up enjoying it a lot!

Another :thumbsup2 For Germany! We really enjoyed our meal here. We had never really eaten German food previously so we can't speak to authenticity.;) But everything we had was delicious! It is a very fun atmosphere, the service was great, and the beers were BIG and COLD. :drinking1 :drinking1

Like most Epcot food, it is Americanized food 'influenced by..' Some of the items used to be quite good, but the last two times the food really had gone downhill. And the Brezn served at Sommerfest have been very stale.

Quality has been really disappointing, and combined with the non-authentic foods I am hestitant to recommend this place any more.

We go to Germany every trip.... My hubby was stationed in Germany for many years and he says the food there taste just like he remembers it in Germany. The entertainment is a lot of fun and if you like German food you wont be disappointed. Mmmmm potato balls!

We love it.
We usually go to the Disney Restaurants for the atmosphere or the characters...this one we go for the food (and the atmosphere is good too).

It's a buffet, but not like all the rest of the buffets in Disney (they all seem the same). It's far and above the other buffets.

My father, who is the pickiest eater I know, LOVES it.
Have fun!!

DD and I went two years ago. We are going again this year with DH. It was great. We both loved the food and the show!! Debby

Another vote for it! We go every time we visit the World. Love the dancing and singing (although we don't get up and dance). Lots of fun, decent food (I'm not big into the sausages, but the salads are YUM)! Last time we got sat with two ladies that actually ended up being from the same area we were. One of the ladies' mom was my SIL's art professor! Small world!!

Hubby got to go to Austria with his mom, aunt and sisters this summer and met some family he'd never seen and sampled some very authentic German food, so we're excited to go back to Biergarten in January!
